In Annaberg-Buchholz, cuddly toys are coming to the opera stage. The theater is looking for such cuddly companions to donate.

In a new opera production in Annaberg-Buchholz, disused cuddly toys are given a second life. The Eduard-von-Winterstein-Theater is looking for donations of teddy bears, plush bunnies and the like. They must be at least 15 centimetres tall, the theater announced.

The cuddly toys will make their grand entrance at the beginning of April when the opera "The Barber of Seville" premieres. They will then adorn the stage set. Anyone wishing to part with cuddly toys can make the theater very happy with their donation, it was said. There are twelve acceptance dates until mid-February.
