The handball players of BSV Sachsen Zwickau have celebrated another success after six defeats in a row. Coach Norman Rentsch's charges defeated Bundesliga bottom side TSV Bayer Levrekusen 27:26 (14:15).
Anna Frankova scored her fourth goal to secure a 27:26 (14:15) nail-biting victory against the bottom side, who are without a win or points. Alongside Frankova, Arwen Gorb (6), Blanka Klajdon (6/3) and Kaho Nakayama (5) played the biggest part in the fourth win of the season. Christin Kaufmann (7/2) and Johanna Andresen (5) scored the most goals for Leverkusen.
The players from Zwickau got off to a good start and were 8:4 ahead after ten minutes. But then the game broke. Leverkusen went on a 6:1 run to move 10:9 in front in the 20th minute. An open exchange of blows then developed, in which Zwickau had the better end in the end.
