Dynamo Dresden remains the measure of things in the 3rd division. On Sunday, the league leader defeated SSV Ulm in the top match with 3:2 (2:2). Lamar Yarbrough (28th) had put the home side in front, Stefan Kutschke (33rd) and Claudio Kammerknecht (37th) turned the game around. The intermediate equalizer by former Dresden player Lucas Röser (45th) shortly before the halftime break was followed by Kammerknecht's second goal (57th) for the final score of 3:2. The game in the sold-out Donaustadion was watched by 17,000 spectators, including about 2200 SGD fans.
In the opening phase, Ulm was the more active team. Yarbrough took advantage of the Dresdner's sloppy defensive work and put the Spatzen in the lead. Dynamo then turned the game around with two standards from Dennis Borkowski, which captain Kutschke and Kammerknecht were able to convert. Röser took advantage of another lapse in concentration by the black-and-yellow back line to equalize 2:2. In the second half, Dynamo controlled the game and took the lead again through Kammerknecht's second goal. This one brought them with good defensive work, but also own offensive actions over time.
