Significant photographs of German history by Barbara Klemm on display in Leipzig.

Important photos of Germany's recent history will soon be on display in Leipzig. After 15 years on tour abroad, the exhibition "Barbara Klemm. Chiaroscuro. Photographs from Germany" is returning to Germany, as announced by the ifa Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations.

The pictures will be on display from November 30 to March 23 at the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Leipzig. The exhibition was last shown in 29 cities abroad.

The photos by long-time FAZ photographer Barbara Klemm bear witness to the historical development and the present in a country that was divided for decades. Many of her pictures have become icons of contemporary history and have shaped the cultural memory of several generations.
