Arts and crafts businesses invite you to visit

From Friday to Sunday, arts and crafts businesses and creative people throughout Saxony will once again be providing insights into their work. Around 200 businesses, workshops, studios and ateliers are taking part in this year's European Arts and Crafts Days - more than in any other federal state, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Visitors can also get creative themselves in workshops.

According to the information, arts and crafts are of great importance for Saxony: over 1,500 companies with around 10,800 employees generate around 635 million euros every year. "Arts and crafts stand for regional value creation, sustainability and authenticity," said Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Panter (SPD). The European Arts and Crafts Days take place every year in April in 24 European countries.
