The handball players of BSV Sachsen Zwickau have suffered a setback in their fight to stay in the league. Coach Norman Rentsch's charges conceded a 32:34 (18:19) home defeat against Buxtehuder SV on Saturday. Nyala Krullaahs, Mie Rakstad (7 goals each) and Sinah Hagen (5) played the biggest part in the visitors' success. Rita Lakatos (8/2) and Ema Hrvatin (7/3) scored the most goals for Zwickau.
The home side trailed 8:11 after a quarter of an hour, but managed to equalize at 14:14 (23') and were even ahead at 17:16 (28'). Midway through the second half, however, Buxtehude ensured a preliminary decision in this game. The visitors pulled away from 23:24 (39') to 23:28 (44') with four goals in a row and fed off this cushion until the final whistle.
