Erzgebirge Aue have extended their contract with Boris Tashchy. The third-division soccer club made the announcement on Thursday. The 30-year-old attacking player signed a contract with the Veilchen until June 30, 2026. "Boris is a stable, reliable and important part of our path. With his robustness and versatility, he is valuable to the team, has internalized our soccer and is flexible and technically adept," said sporting director Matthias Heidrich.
With 35 games in the second division, seven assists and three goals, the experienced Tashchy "has played a significant role in our performance to date, is not prone to injury and is in full rhythm," said Heidrich, praising the Ukrainian, who has played in the Erzgebirge since 2022. The 1.92-metre player has now made 73 appearances for Aue.
