The handball players of BSV Sachsen Zwickau are still in acute danger of relegation. Coach Norman Rentsch's charges lost their home game against VfL Oldenburg 24:30 (13:12) on Sunday and are only two points ahead of a relegation place after their ninth defeat of the season. Toni-Luise Reinemann (5), Merle Carstensen (5/1) and Paulina Golla (4) played the biggest part in the visitors' success. Laura Szabo (6) and Emma Montag (4) scored the most goals for Zwickau.

The hosts got off to a perfect start and were 6:3 ahead after seven minutes. Zwickau was able to keep its opponents at bay until four minutes before the break, but Oldenburg turned the game around with a 7:2 run to make it 16:14 (34') and then never trailed again. The visitors had decided the game in their favor at 25:20 nine minutes before the final whistle. Zwickau simply made too many simple technical mistakes in attack to achieve a better result.
