Summer nights are for dancing - and this is especially true for the Dresden Castle Night. On July 20, the popular event invites music fans, strollers, connoisseurs and dance enthusiasts to Dresden's Elbhang for the 14th time. This year, the organizers have a special novelty in the program: the Late Night Ticket, with which you can visit the Schlössernacht from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.
This special ticket is a real benefit for all night owls. "According to our measurements, some of the guests go home after the fireworks. That's how the idea of the Late Night Ticket came about, to open up the Schlössernacht - which was always sold out - to more guests," explains organizer Mirco Meinel. Thanks to the new offer, even more visitors can now enjoy the magical atmosphere of the Schlössernacht.
For just 24.50 euros plus advance booking fee, you can secure your Late Night Ticket in the online store at www.dresdner-schloessernacht.de. And it gets even better: three cooperation partners of the Schlössernacht even offer the Late Night Ticket with a discount code that grants a ten percent discount: the Kobalt Club, the Pumpenhaus and the Disco Dice. If you buy there, you also save the advance booking fee. For spontaneous night owls, tickets are also available at the box office at the main entrance to Albrechtsberg Castle.
This is what visitors can expect from 11 pm
The program has been expanded especially for dance enthusiasts and offers a diverse selection of DJs and music genres. On the south side of Albrechtsberg Castle, you can dance the night away with Disco Dice, while Rambo Rodriguez sets the mood in the Saloppe. Thanks to a cooperation with the Pumpenhaus and techno DJ Anna Reusch, the Heizhaus will be transformed into a real boiler. DJ Speedy House will be playing on the Genussmeile, and Tom Roeder will be providing musical highlights on the Roseninsel by the pond.
For the first time, the north side of Albrechtsberg Castle will also become a dance floor. A live mapping show with DJ performances by mapping master Rico Meier and music producer Nelson Könnicke will take place here from midnight to 2am. This innovative show promises a top-class visual and acoustic experience.
How many locations are there? In total, visitors to the Dresden Castle Night can dance at five different locations: the south side of Albrechtsberg Castle, Saloppe, Heizhaus, Genussmeile and Roseninsel.
Why is there a Late Night Ticket? The Late Night Ticket was introduced to enable even more guests to attend the popular event, which is traditionally sold out. After many visitors head home after the fireworks, the Late Night Ticket makes room for additional guests who can enjoy the varied music and entertainment program until the early hours of the morning.
