RB Leipzig's first game of the new year will be dominated by the comeback of Dani Olmo. According to head coach Marco Rose, the Spanish playmaker will be fit to face Eintracht Frankfurt this Saturday (3.30pm/Sky), even if he is not yet ready for 90 minutes. "We have to introduce him slowly. He feels good, he's in a good mood. It's important that we have him and his quality back," said Rose, who has all his players available apart from defender Willi Orban and Amadou Haidara, who was sent off to the Africa Cup.
In their first meeting since last year's 2-0 win in the cup final in Berlin, Rose expects Eintracht to be only slightly different. "The basic style won't change, but there will be one more factor: more crosses from now on, because there's a target player waiting in the center," Rose emphasized with regard to Frankfurt's new signing Sasa Kalajdzic, who has a very good header in the penalty area. Winter signing Donny van de Beek is also expected to start in the starting eleven.
