RB Leipzig want to extend their top series at home against Borussia Dortmund. "We have the quality to cause them problems, with pace, with soccer, with defending and everything that goes with it," said RB head coach Marco Rose ahead of the top match this Saturday (18:30/Sky). BVB have come to Leipzig four times since November 2021 and returned empty-handed each time. Four defeats and 2:11 goals are in the balance.
However, the picture of fluctuating performances is currently the same for both clubs. After all, Saxony have been without a win in the Bundesliga for four games and have fallen behind in the battle for the top flight for the time being. BVB recently lost at home to Augsburg. "We have similar issues to Dortmund, we're also struggling with consistency. The Bundesliga is very, very tight from 4th to 10th place. Two teams with clear goals will face each other tomorrow," said Rose, who will be without Yussuf Poulsen, who once again has muscular problems.
