According to a media report that Schmedt did not comment on, SC Magdeburg's budget is said to be between eight and ten million euros.
Success at the Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia on Sunday earned the club around 370,000 euros, while the Champions League triumph in June even brought in one million euros.
