Third-division soccer team Dynamo Dresden continues its streak with a 1-0 win over VfB Lübeck.

Third-division soccer team Dynamo Dresden remains on track for success. On Saturday, the league leader defeated VfB Lübeck 1-0 (0-0). Jakob Lemmer scored the goal of the day (50th minute). The game in the sold-out stadium at the Lohmühle was watched by 8858 spectators. Before relegation place two Dynamo has now for the time being already five points ahead.

In a largely uneventful first half Dynamo had more of the game. The best chance had Lemmer (45.+1). In the second half, the guests became more compelling. Lemmer put SGD in front after a series of approaches to goal. Lübeck then turned the game on its side. Mats Facklam (66th) and Pascal Breier (70th/76th/88th) failed to score against Dresden goalkeeper Stefan Drljaca, who reacted superbly on several occasions. On the opposite side, substitute Panagiotis Vlachodimos (80.) missed the 2-0. Lübeck also hit only the post in injury time.
