Bundesliga basketball club Niners Chemnitz is parting ways with shooting guard Jaron Johnson. The club announced that the contract, which was due to run until the end of the year, had been terminated by mutual agreement. The 1.98-meter-tall American transferred to Saxony from Turkish first-division club Cagdas Bodrum in the summer, but has only been able to convince the club management of the currently eleventh-placed team in the German Basketball League (BBL) to a limited extent in the games so far. With immediate effect, Johnson will play for the Italian Serie A club Pallacanestro Varese.
