Bundesliga basketball club Niners Chemnitz has made a personnel swap in its foreign contingent. After Aher Uguak was ruled out for the season due to injury, the Saxons have signed 27-year-old American Damien Lamar Jefferson until the end of the season. Jefferson, who is 1.96 meters tall and weighs 100 kilograms, was still playing for Turkish first-division club Pinar Karsiyaka until the turn of the year.
Since the Niners also received a lucrative offer from French first-division club CSP Limoges for William Christmas, they agreed to immediately terminate his contract with the American, as a result of which Christmas has already left for France. As a result, the Chemnitz team's contingent of foreigners is now at the permitted level of six players.
