Third-division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue will be without their attacking players Marvin Stefaniak and Sean Seitz for the start of the second half of the season at Hannover 96 II on Friday evening (19:00/MagentaSport). Both players are suffering from flu-like infections. Stefaniak had already developed bronchitis during the training camp in Turkey and has not yet recovered. New coach Jens Härtel believes that Stefaniak will not be able to return to training until next week at the earliest.
Härtel emphasized in a press conference that the preparation time was somewhat short. "I'm not going to make any predictions now about what can already be implemented from what I have in mind. I liked what I saw. There are always areas where we can improve," said the coach.
