DHL after crash: No evidence of suspicious parcels

The investigation into the crashed cargo plane, which was traveling on behalf of DHL, is in full swing. So far, there are no indications of suspicious packages, according to the company.

Following the crash of a cargo plane that was traveling on behalf of postal service provider DHL, the company says it has so far received no information about suspicious packages on board the plane. "At the moment, we have no information that indicates anything unusual or suspicious," said Ausra Rutkauskiene, Head of Sales and Marketing at DHL Lithuania.

The investigation is ongoing and in the meantime the company has nothing to report and will not comment. "We don't want to speculate," she was quoted as saying by Lithuanian media. The ill-fated plane was transporting parcels for customers. "We are in individual contact with all customers whose parcels were on the plane," she said.
