Third-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden has secured millions in long-term financial relief with the early purchase of its training center. On the evening of April 1, the traditional club converted the original lease-purchase agreement with DGI Gesellschaft für Immobilienwirtschaft mbH Dresden, which runs until 2045, into a purchase agreement, as the league leaders announced. Since 2020, the professional and youth teams have been housed in the Walter Fritzsch Academy.
"In addition to the considerable financial benefit that the early purchase brings, this facility represents an investment in stones that will enable optimal sporting development in the long term thanks to the fantastic conditions at Bundesliga level," said David Fischer, Managing Director Communications, "the purchase gives our SGD a foundation that provides security."
