With Jürgen Klopp as head of soccer at Red Bull, Castello Lukeba believes RB Leipzig's chances of winning titles will increase. The 21-year-old defender of the Saxon Bundesliga club told "Sport Bild" that Klopp is a big name in soccer and a great signing for Red Bull. "RB Leipzig will also make great strides under him. There's nothing to be said against challenging the big names with him. I think that's possible," said Lukeba.
The Frenchman moved to Leipzig from Olympique Lyon in the summer of 2023 and has a contract until 2029. His goal is to win titles with coach Marco Rose's team. "RB have never been champions. It would be fantastic if we attack the top during my time at RB Leipzig," said Lukeba, who wants to develop into the best defender in the world. "I like the competition to develop into my best version. But now I still have a lot to learn," Lukeba said.
