Culture publisher awarded the Kurt Wolff Prize

The cultural publisher Theater der Zeit has been awarded the Kurt Wolff Prize 2025. The prize is endowed with 35,000 euros. It was awarded on Friday at the Leipzig Book Fair. The Kurt Wolff Prize is something like the Nobel Prize for small publishers, said Managing Director Paul Tischler. "This is a great recognition for us."

Theater der Zeit focuses on the art of acting and its actors. The Berlin publishing house has 20 employees. In addition to the main prize, a sponsorship prize worth 15,000 euros was also awarded. It went to Edition A.B.Fischer, also from Berlin.
