Five facts about the match between RB Leipzig and Union Berlin

- After three defeats in a row recently and the 2:5 in Stuttgart, RB Leipzig will be under enormous pressure this Sunday (17:30/DAZN) against 1. FC Union Berlin. RB last ended the Union curse with a 3-0 win at the Alte Försterei in September 2023. Before that, however, there were five 1-2 defeats in a row.

- Defender Willi Orban may be about to make his starting debut, as Mohamed Simakan is also suspended. Whether coach Marco Rose will change goalkeeper from Janis Blaswich to Peter Gulasci after conceding eight goals in three games is questionable.

- The Unioners, who are currently harmless in attack, are just what they need. The Köpenickers have only scored 18 goals in 18 games so far. Only Mainz and Cologne are worse. Top scorers are Robin Gosens and Kevin Behrens, who moved to Wolfsburg shortly before the transfer deadline. Leipzig's duo Lois Openda (13 goals) and Xavi Simons (5) have 18 between them.
