Triathlete Martin Schulz has won the title at the Para World Championships for the second time in his career. The 33-year-old from SC DHfK Leipzig won the PTS5 class over the Paralympic distance of 750 meters swimming, 20 kilometers cycling and 5 kilometers running on Saturday in Pontevedra, Spain. Schulz needed 56:18 minutes and relegated Canadian Stefan Daniel (56:45) and U.S. Chris Hammer (57:16) to second and third place. In 2016, the two-time Paralympic champion had won the world title for the first time.
