RB Leipzig can once again rely on Timo Werner in the final group game of the Champions League. The international striker completed his final training session on Tuesday and could feature against Swiss champions Young Boys Bern on Wednesday (18:45/DAZN).
Werner, who is not a regular for the Saxons this season and has been cleared for transfer in the winter, could even start in the match, which has no sporting significance. Leipzig have already secured second place in Group G, while Bern are third and will be relegated to the Europa League.
Werner was out for two weeks due to adductor problems. The 27-year-old has scored twice in a total of 13 competitive matches. Werner has only made four appearances in the starting eleven.
