Bundesliga club RB Leipzig have loaned out midfielder Ilaix Moriba once again. On Monday, the Saxons announced that the 20-year-old will play for Spanish first division club FC Getafe until the end of the season. At Getafe, he will meet coach José Bordalas, who had already coached him during his loan spell at Valencia FC. The contract with the eighth-placed team in the Spanish first division does not include an option to buy. RB are hoping that Moriba will develop in such a way that he can still become part of the Leipzig squad.
Moriba came to Leipzig from FC Barcelona in 2021 with great expectations, but was never able to establish himself and was subsequently loaned out to Valencia twice. He is currently on duty with Guinea at the Africa Cup.
