Following the disappointing performances of the German national soccer team against Turkey and Austria, RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose stood up to Julian Nagelsmann and called the players to account. "None of this feels good right now. I think we all feel that way. I think it's first and foremost up to the boys to do better," said Rose.

After the 2:3 against the Turks and the 0:2 in Austria, criticism of the new DFB coach Nagelsmann had also become louder. "We've only just changed the national team coach. Now we're already discussing the next one. I said to Hansi that he has my full support. I'm now saying the same about Julian," said Rose.

There are still around seven months to go until the home European Championships. The expectations of the national team are always enormous. "Because we are simply a big nation with a lot of talented players. I believe that we can get it right and that we will be able to celebrate success with our boys again at some point. But it's their responsibility now to send out signals and take things forward," said Rose.
