The volleyball players of VC Bitterfeld-Wolfen are not able to get beyond the role of points suppliers in the Bundesliga. The team from last but one in the table lost 0:3 (15:25, 18:25, 20:25) to SWD powervolleys Düren after just 68 minutes and thus conceded their 14th defeat in a row. Francois Huetz, who was voted the most valuable player of the encounter, played the biggest part in the visitors' success.
The home side were only able to keep the game open at times in the second set, keeping pace until 14:16. The other two sets were dominated by the visitors, who made fewer mistakes in attack than the Bitterfeld team.
