Four people were injured by pyrotechnics in the Dresden fan block during the 3rd Football League match between Dynamo Dresden and Hallescher FC (2:1). This was announced by the police on Thursday. According to the report, three women and one man suffered burn injuries on Wednesday evening, which required medical attention. In addition, their clothing was partially damaged. The criminal investigation department is investigating dangerous bodily injury. The investigators are looking for more injured parties and witnesses.
Immediately before the start of the game and after the Hallenser Führungstreffer in the seventh minute, the K-Block had ignited a total of about 300 Bengal fires. The resulting wall of fog obstructed visibility somewhat, but did not lead to a stoppage of play. Dynamo again faces a hefty fine from the German Football Association as a repeat offender on this issue.
