After falling from a direct promotion place, the future of the sporting management at Dynamo Dresden is to be discussed. According to a report in "Kicker", the supervisory board of the third division soccer club will meet for a crisis meeting on Monday evening. The meeting is to discuss whether coach Markus Anfang and sporting director Ralf Becker should remain in office. The club did not initially comment on this when asked by dpa.
Dresden dropped back to third place after losing 1-0 at relegation-threatened Hallescher FC on Saturday. Those responsible at the club are now apparently afraid that the defined goal of promotion for the season is in jeopardy. Dresden have only won two of their eight games this year, but have already lost five times.
"Perhaps we saw ourselves too well in the winter," said captain Stefan Kutschke after the defeat in Halle. HFC have the weakest defense in the 3rd division with 55 goals conceded, but Dresden failed to create any good scoring chances.
