Superstar Harry Kane impresses RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose not only with his scoring prowess but also with his down-to-earth nature. "He's a fundamentally likeable guy and comes across as completely normal. He does no jumping jacks or arouses the feeling of being something special," said the 47-year-old ahead of the Bundesliga hit against Kane and FC Bayern Munich on Saturday (6.30 p.m./Sky).
The captain of the English national soccer team had switched from Tottenham Hotspur to Munich in the summer for 100 million euros. He scored seven times in five Bundesliga games so far. "He has a quality toward the goal that you can only train to a certain extent," Rose judged. "He is not a real sprinter, but he gives FC Bayern support and stability. And he guarantees goals. That is the most important thing for a coach."
The first duel with Kane had Leipzig decided in its favor. RB won the Supercup in Munich 3-0 at the end of August, but the 30-year-old had only been signed the day before and only played 26 minutes.
