The German ski jumpers will have to make do without Philipp Raimund at their home World Cup in Klingenthal. The 23-year-old is unable to compete at short notice due to illness. Raimund from SC Oberstdorf is suffering from an infection, as the German Ski Association announced on Thursday. After two World Cup weekends so far, he is in 13th place overall in the World Cup.
There will be no subsequent nominations for Klingenthal. The German team will start with Andreas Wellinger, Karl Geiger, Pius Paschke, Stephan Leyhe and Martin Hamann.
