RB Leipzig will once again be without Timo Werner in the battle for a Champions League place. The striker is still out for the top match in the Bundesliga this Saturday (18:30/Sky) at Borussia Dortmund due to adductor problems. Former BVB and current Leipzig coach Marco Rose expects a defiant reaction from Dortmund after their cup exit. "Of course, you can assume that they will perform differently in a home game with the pressure on them," said Rose, adding: "We have to be wide awake and watch out. I also believe that the lads - and I know them - won't put up with it and are a bit angry. That's why we can expect an open fight from the very first minute."
Borussia were eliminated in the last 16 of the DFB Cup on Wednesday with a 2-0 defeat at VfB Stuttgart. RB have won four of their last five competitive matches against Dortmund.
