The handball players of BSV Sachen Zwickau were unable to prevent BVB Borussia Dortmund from winning. The team of coach Norman Rentsch lost clearly against the still unbeaten top club with 24:34 (6:17).
Deborah Lassource (6), Dana Bleckmann, Alicia Langer and Kelly Vollebregt (5 each) played the biggest part in the visitors' success. Kaho Nakayama (5), Victoria Hasselbusch (4), Laura Szabo and Blanka Kajdon (4/3 each) scored the most goals for Zwickau.
Zwickau overwhelmed
The favorites overwhelmed the team from Saxony in the opening quarter of an hour. After 17 minutes, Zwickau had already conceded twelve goals and scored just one themselves.
The Dortmund side then managed the result and never came under pressure at any stage of the game. Zwickau did not give up despite the clear deficit and were able to decide the second half narrowly in their favor.
