Marco Rose is aware of the tricky task facing 1 FC Union Berlin. "We have to score! It's always an intense game, we have to hold our own and choose the right means both against and with the ball in order to survive," said the RB Leipzig head coach ahead of this Saturday's Bundesliga match (18:30/Sky) at the Ironers.
This is exactly what Rose wants to sensitize his team, who are fighting to qualify for the Champions League once again. "It's a small, tight stadium. You know what you get there and what's important there," said the 48-year-old and wants to "take a step in the right direction" with RB.
However, like Union coach Steffen Baumgart, he sees the issue of goal threat as a problem. "What we're finding difficult at the moment over 90 minutes, and at times completely missing, is generating goals from play. And it's always the last 10, 15 per cent, how do I prevent a standard goal against an opponent who has crystallized exactly these means to beat us," said Rose.
