The jury for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize will announce this Thursday which authors can hope to win the coveted award. Five candidates will be nominated in each of the three categories of fiction, non-fiction/essay writing and translation. This year, 177 publishers submitted 486 works. The prize is endowed with a total of 60,000 euros. It will be awarded on the first day of the Leipzig Book Fair on March 21.
