23 parties submit state lists for state parliament elections

For the state election in Saxony on September 1, 23 parties have submitted state lists. This was announced by the state electoral officer on Friday after the registration deadline. In addition to the political forces represented in the state parliament, the parties wishing to stand for election include newcomers and smaller parties such as the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) and the Party for Change, Vegetarians and Vegans. The state election committee will decide on participation in the 2024 state election in Bavaria on July 5.
