Farmers have ended the blockades of highway access roads in Saxony. There are no longer any traffic obstructions.

Farmers have ended the blockades of highway slip roads in Saxony. After the assembly at the Meerane junction, on the state border with Thuringia, had ended, there were no more traffic obstructions, the police announced on Friday evening. On Friday, farmers had once again organized blockades and vigils in the Free State as part of the nationwide protest week. As association president Torsten Krawczyk said in Limbach-Oberfrohna, no further blockades are planned by the association until the beginning of February. On Monday, 1000 to 2000 vehicles from Saxony plan to take part in a large demonstration in Berlin.
