In Dresden, three demonstrations on the Middle East conflict will take place on Saturday - two for solidarity with Israel and another with the slogan "Peace for Palestine". According to information from the city, the events will begin in the afternoon almost simultaneously on Prager Straße.
For the pro-Palestine demonstration, 500 people were announced. For the solidarity demonstration with Israel, the organizers announced 250 participants. In addition, a third rally with 50 participants was announced under the slogan "Solidarity with the people of Israel. Against the terror of Hamas. Against any anti-Semitism" registered.
The police will accompany the gatherings. Interior Minister Armin Schuster (CDU) had made it clear that "Hamas jubilation" would not be tolerated on Saxony's streets.
