Greens lead candidate Robert Habeck does not rule out a black-green coalition after the early federal elections. "We have proven in many federal states that the Greens and the CDU can govern together successfully," said Habeck in the ZDF program "Was nun?". There is no taboo with the Greens.
"Democrats should not do this tabooing, which only Markus Söder still does," warned Habeck. Saxony shows where this leads: there, the election campaign by Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (CDU) against the Greens has now led to "the biggest mess of all", namely the inability to govern. "That was already a thoughtful feralization of the worst degree."
CSU leader Markus Söder reaffirmed his rejection of a black-green alliance in the federal government after the Green Party conference. "Black-green is not an option for us", said the Bavarian Minister President on the ARD program "Bericht aus Berlin". A real change of direction was needed in the federal elections. Union chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz (CDU) had also previously said that these Greens would not work.
