Saxon investigators have probably prevented an attack on a hostel for asylum seekers in Brandenburg. Following an anonymous tip-off, two properties in the Meißen district were searched, according to the Dresden public prosecutor's office. During the searches, explosives in the form of two ball bombs were found, as well as brass knuckles, one-handed knives, ammunition and alarm guns and soft air weapons.
According to the public prosecutor's office, a 21-year-old German is said to have equipped himself for an attack on an asylum shelter in Senftenberg. The 21-year-old has been provisionally arrested and is to be brought before a judge.
