Lars Bünning has been a Dynamo since 2023. Now he is extending his contract.

Third-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden are going into the next few years with defender Lars Bünning. The contract with the 26-year-old has been extended, the Saxon club announced. As usual, Dynamo did not disclose the term of the new contract.

"With his personality and experience, Lars is an important part of our team. He can continue to lead the way as a role model for our younger players and help our team achieve defensive stability in the future," said Dresden managing director of sport Thomas Brendel.

Bünning moved to Dresden from second-division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the summer of 2023 and has played 52 competitive matches for Dynamo to date. He has also played for Werder Bremen II, Borussia Dortmund II and SV Meppen.
