Juventus Turin will not let the Champions League match at RB Leipzig slip from their grasp. "We will always try to possess the ball and dictate the game," said Juve coach Thiago Motta ahead of the second preliminary round match in the top flight this Wednesday (21:00/DAZN). "I think it will be an open game, our opponents will press well and we'll have to try to possess the ball and cause them problems." Even though both defenses will dominate the game, Motta demands: "We also have to show offensive qualities."
Defender Andrea Cambiaso is aware of Leipzig's strengths. "We have to withstand the pressure and play as well as possible. Leipzig have very good players, young players who are very hungry, they work well as a collective." Juve want to get around Saxony's pressing with their quick players. "It's important to possess the ball, to keep the opponent away from the penalty area," said Cambioso. Juve are yet to concede a goal in the league after six matchdays, with the only goal conceded this season coming in the Champions League in the 3-1 opening win against PSV Eindhoven.
