Basketball Bundesliga club Syntainics MBC has filled the sixth vacancy for foreign professionals before the start of the second half of the season. According to club information, the American Hysier Miller will play for the team from Weißenfels in the future. The 22-year-old and 1.85 meter tall combo guard is set to make his debut in the Wolves' uniform next Saturday in the away game at BG Göttingen. He signed a contract until the end of the season with a three-week trial period.
Miller came on the recommendation of former MBC players Will Chavis (1/2008 to 2009) and Frantz Massenat (2014 to 2016). He played at Temple University, one of the best-known basketball programs in the USA. In the past 2023/24 season, he was in Temple's starting line-up for all 36 games of the season and was the team's top scorer with an average of 15.9 points. He also recorded 4.0 assists and 3.6 rebounds.
