RB Leipzig's next talent is going on loan. With striker Eduardo, a young professional is returning to the Netherlands - for the time being.

RB Leipzig have loaned out young professional Yannick Eduardo to Dutch second division club De Graafschap. The Bundesliga club made the announcement on Thursday. The 18-year-old, who signed a professional contract until June 30, 2027 in January after strong performances in the Youth League (5 goals), was outstanding in the A-Youth Bundesliga with 19 goals and three assists. The striker also recently played for the Dutch U18 team.

"Yannick Eduardo is now ready to prove himself as a professional player. The loan to De Graafschap is the perfect next step for Yannick and us for his best possible development. He will play in the first team and should gain as much match practice as possible here," said RB sporting director Rouven Schröder about Eduardo, who moved from NEC Nijmegen to the RBL youth academy in the summer of 2022.
