German coach Julian Nagelsmann will also be without Benjamin Henrichs for the Nations League games in Bosnia-Herzegovina and against the Netherlands. The 27-year-old winger from RB Leipzig is suffering from back problems and left the team headquarters in Herzogenaurach on Wednesday morning, according to the German Football Association.
Nagelsmann will not be called up for the time being. Henrichs, who would have been the first substitute for Joshua Kimmich in the right-back position, is the seventh absentee for the October games.
Before the game in Zenica this Friday (8.45pm/RTL), David Raum (ankle), Jamal Musiala (hip), Kai Havertz (knee) and Robin Koch (hip) had already withdrawn at short notice. Regular goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen (torn patella tendon) and Niclas Füllkrug (Achilles tendon irritation), who had been missing for months, had previously not even been able to be nominated.
