The FC Erzgebirge Aue has stopped the downward trend and after three winless games again brought in three points. Against 1. FC Saarbrücken, the third-division soccer club won 2-0 (0-0) in front of 8006 spectators at the Erzgebirge stadium. The scorers were Boris Tashchy (65th) with his first goal of the season and Sean Seitz (74th). Saarbrücken's Calogero Rizzuto saw the yellow-red card in the 56th minute.
The first half was very evenly balanced, even if one noticed the violets that they had planned something for this important game. Thus Marcel bear succeeded already in the 8th minute a dangerous conclusion from nine meters. Since it remained with the guests from the Saarland also only with chances, the teams said goodbye with a 0:0 into the half.
While the second half began quietly at first, it became turbulent in the 56th minute. The ex-Auer Rizzuto saw the traffic light card after he wanted to prevent a counterattack by Seitz. After brief fisticuffs and consultations between the referees, Bär and Bone Uaferro also received a yellow card. Tashchy was able to take advantage of the overtime situation as early as the 65th minute, scoring his first goal of the season. Only nine minutes later, Tashchy managed to pass the Saarbrücken goalkeeper Tim Paterok, who had moved out wide, and find Seitz (74th), who converted to make it 2-0.
Erzgebirge Aue hosts Viktoria Köln next Saturday.
