Gulacsi for goalkeeper rotation at RB Leipzig

Regular goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi has surprisingly spoken out in favor of a rotation in goal for Bundesliga club RB Leipzig. "Everyone always wants to play at this level. But you also have to realize that the pressure on us goalkeepers is not getting any less. There are now even more Champions League games, with the national team, the Nations League. In a few years, it will be normal for goalkeepers to be rotated as well," said the Hungarian international goalkeeper in an interview with "Sportbild".

Champions Bayer Leverkusen have already done this, according to Gulacsi. "I
expect the same for us this season. With the number of
games, that's how it should be done - rotation makes sense," emphasized the Hungarian. Head coach Marco Rose had declared the 34-year-old as number one before the start of the competitive fixtures, but held out the prospect of playing time for new signing and challenger Maarten Vandevoordt, who is only 22 years old. RB already had two number ones
