The left-handed player only plays for SC DHfK Leipzig for six months. He continued his career in Thuringia.

Handball Bundesliga club ThSV Eisenach is strengthening its squad for the new season with U21 world champion Stephan Seitz. The 23-year-old is moving from league rivals SC DHfK Leipzig to the Wartburg city. Born in Munich, the German junior international won the European Championship with the U19s in 2021 and the World Championship with the U21s in 2023.

The left-handed player came to Leipzig in a swap deal in January. Viggo Kristjansson moved to HC Erlangen for the right wing. Before his time in Leipzig, Seitz scored 61 first league goals in 65 games for the Franconians. In Leipzig, he has scored 14 times in eight games so far.
