Actress Riemann in search of English publisher

Actress Katja Riemann is looking for an English publisher to translate her book. "All the actors I write about obviously can't read the book because they don't speak German," the 60-year-old explained her search on Friday at the Leipzig Book Fair. In her book "Zeit der Zäune" (Time of Fences), Riemann tells of her travels through various camps where refugees are accommodated.

In her book, Riemann tells of people who come from her industry and shape the reality in the camps in a creative way. One of them is a film school, for example. "I am an artist and an actress. The thing I know a lot about is characters. The book is full of characters, people who live. I try to tell them in such a way that readers can see them and sympathize with them," said the actress, who was last seen in the comedy "Catweazle", for example.
