Singer and actress Yvonne Catterfeld (45, "Irgendwas") has canceled two concerts on her upcoming "Move" tour. The shows in Dresden and Leipzig on May 23 and 25 are affected, as Catterfeld announced on the social media platform Instagram. The reason: the demand for tickets was too low.
"It's important to me to be honest with you," she wrote. A tour entails high costs. "But at the same time, we also want to offer you fair ticket prices." In Leipzig and Dresden, demand has been so low so far "that the costs incurred cannot be covered by far and I, as an artist, have to pay extra for this tour." The cancellation was not easy for her, she emphasized.
Fans who have already purchased tickets can therefore return them at the points of sale. Catterfeld's tour begins on May 14 in Cologne and originally comprised seven dates. The concerts in Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin will take place as planned.
