Building has become more expensive again in Saxony

Building in Saxony is becoming increasingly expensive. Compared to the previous year, the construction price index for a residential building has risen by 3.3 percent, according to the State Statistical Office in Kamenz. In 2023, prices had risen by 10.5 percent compared to the previous year. According to the data, customers paid 1.2 percent more for work on shell construction, while finishing work increased in price by 5 percent.
